About Me

I am Coach Cruz, a certified distance running coach and personal trainer that specializes in working with adults who want to elevate their run times, fitness, and lifestyle.  My mission is to provide personalized training programs and expert guidance, empowering my clients to improve their running performance and overall fitness, while fostering a community of health, motivation, and support. 

My specific areas of work are improving cardiovascular endurance, strength training, body re-composition, boosting mental toughness, and improving speed.

My athletic background is in track and field and cross country.  I have been competitively running from the 8th grade through my 4 years at Kutztown University.  Some personal bests are 1:56 800m, 4:06 1500m, 16:36 5k, 26:59 8k, 59:50 10-mile, and 3:03:10 marathon.  

I also have a background in the military, having been a soldier for 8 years.  There have been many physically challenging feats such as Air Assault school, (successfully) completing a Norwegian Ruck March, and competing in the NCO of the Year competition, for the State of Pennsylvania.  All of which have helped me develop an unshakeable mindset.  

I have trained soldiers, developed novice runners, and introduced the joy of working out to complete beginners.  I firmly believe internal strength outputs to external strength.  Let's create a champion mindset and maximize the extent of your potential!
